General question E115 with Open University

Is anyone here doing E115 with the Open University. I've just completed E123 and E124 and this new one is totally different.

A bit scary actually. It's very different to E123/4 as it's all about personal and professional development so you've got to accrue lots of evidence to prove that you are meeting all the EYCLOs. Lots of new terminology and lots of reflective practice. It's hard admitting your faults in an official sort of way IYSWIM, but I know it will improve what I do (if that's at all possible:wink:)

eek at the 'more terminology lol & evidencing sounds fun .

For anyone interested there's an informative E115 PDF from open.ac.uk here: Evidence of Effective Practice & managed to find some information on the EYCLO - Early Years Core Learning Outcomes on pages 30 - 31 of this pdf from open.ac.uk. If anyone knows of more: background, sourced /related links or other criteria, eyclo news etc please feel free to post ..

Big hugs for the beginning of the course
xx

Thanks, I've got the work based learning handbook as that comes with the course materials but the other document looks very interesting. Have you done this course yourself Ruthierhyme?

Probably. It's too early to tell. By the time I finish this module I won't have had a life for 18 months...so we'll have to see what the future brings :)
