Default Evidence question ..... I'm lost!!

Hello all! I've just started the level 3 diploma in specialist support in schools, and I'm stuck on task 10 - it requires practical evidence of some kind and I haven't got a clue! So far, I've only done 4 days of my placement, and i don't think I have any evidence to offer as yet! The question is:

"Analyse the importance of early identification of speech, language and communication delays and disorders and the potential risks of late recognition."

The sort of evidence required is from a reflective diary, a professional discussion record and an observation / witness statement. I think I could make up a situation and say what I would do, but that's as close as I think I can get, and I'm not sure as to what evidence "template" I should use for that.

I would ask my teacher, but she is so so busy and I'd like to exhaust all avenues before I ask her!!!

I would be very grateful for some help!

Thank you

Lizzie

Hi, please remember that your tutor is paid to do this job, if they're too busy they'll be professional enough to let you know without stating you're not to bother them xx

This criteria is based on you knowing everything in the unit prior to this. 4 days in th placement might not be enough unless you've already had extensive discussions with the class teacher about children's development, how it's monitored, recorded and what they do/who they contact if delays are identified, and if you've started your reflective diary.

What handbook have you been recommended?
