Hiya and welcome to Silkysteps.

Have you had a look through the Safeguarding children page of the dcsf's website - Safeguarding children and social care other help is to speak locally to your own group's lead, EY' department advisor & assessor/tutor for ideas on where to gather information, policy & procedures from.

Other links that may help are Child protection from NSPCC

Knowing the names of your own Setting's policies, what the procedures are and what documents / forms are used for data collection will help as will knowing which other agencies/organisations & professionals have links with your group.

Best wishes with it all and enjoy the site

Ruth
