Hello i can help with
1.4
Under the Health and safety at work at 1974 all employees have a responsibility for the health and safety of everyone else in there setting. As early years workers we have responsibility for the safety of the children and young people in our care. Our health and safety work act poster is up on our notice board in the cloak room in our pre-school. This act gives the overall responsibility for health and safety to all employers but also gives duties to employees, so everyone in our setting has some responsibility for the health and safety of anyone in the setting. We ensure our notice board is kept up to date. We carry out health and safety inspections out every term; we ensure any relevant information is passed on to the correct people. We also have a health and safety policy in place in our setting which is accessible to staff and parents at all times, we have a copy on our notice board. All staff and children are aware of where the assembly point is incase of a fire drill. In our setting we involve and motivate each other in all matters concerning health and safety. We have a responsibility to provide a safe environment for all children and our manager is responsible for health and safety matters concerning the pre-school premises. All staff are made aware of potential hazards within our pre-school and the surrounding environment and actively protect children from hazards

The other questions i did through pd.

What units have you completed? xx
