Just think of all the things children do in your setting and then think:

How can a child in a wheel chair take part in physical activites?
if children are twirling ribbon wands around, you could offer ribbon rings (rings with ribbons attached).
If a child is visually impaired them the ribbon rings can have bells on them.

For sand play if they are unable to get down to the sand pit - take the sand to them either by way of a table they can access or a mobile sand tray.
Just think along those lines for all you offer.

For sen children make sure you are offering them age and stage appropriate toys and activities. If you have scooters out and they are unable to operate them, you would take their needs into consideration and offer them a tricycle, so they can join in and be included.

The same goes with everything else i.e. puzzles you will have a range out for all ages and stages of children, but you will ensure that you have some (or extra) chunky peg puzzles out for that child, if that is what they need.

If you have lacing out, they might find it easier wih one of the wooden lacing blocks with the lace attached i.e. mouse to go through the cheese block or worm through the apple.

Look at your SEN and Inclusion, Diversity and Equality policies and you will see what and how your setting sets out their framework - basically how does your setting care and educate every child in your setting whatever their needs?
