Help SOS bandura's Self-Efficacy theory.

so i need to evaluate this theory. what are the strenghs/good points and weaknesses/bad points of this theory? if anyone could get me started that'd be gr8t. thanks.

Bandura
Showed that children learnt through copying and observing, this can be applied today as if an early years worker with demonstrates an activity the child can learn to do it through copying. Or if a child has a good role model then they are likely to copy the behaviour. But if they see bad behaviour then they will copy the bad behaviour.

hope this helps sorry not much but have a servere ear infection and in great pain

awaiting the next time for pain killers while trying to do so homework to take my mind of the pain never knew homework could be such a pain killer as my brain is numb

• Albert Bandura – Social Learning
This theory accepts the principles of conditioning but also says that we learn by observing other people. This is also called Observational learning.
The theory says that Observational learning is spontaneous, that children learn naturally by imitating rather than being taught.
Observation learning can happen without reinforcement which is the main difference between conditioning
There are two terms that are used:
Model – the person who the child is imitating
Modelling – the process by which learning takes place

How it is implemented in a setting:

• Having a well equipped role play area that changes to give a wide range of experiences where they can carry out behaviour they have seen
• Staff behaving appropriately in front of children
• Adults working/playing alongside children asking questions and listening to them
• Giving children opportunities to work alone as well as in small or large groups
