Default 2.3 Explain biological and environmental factors which influence children's development

Help!!!!! Banging my head against a wall with this one, my tutor has told me I need to add this to my assignment
2.3: You will need to research and further inform these answers. you only need to briefly discuss each factor that you bullet point. They should be no more than 2-3 lines.

Biological:
· Gender
· Age of the child
· Rate of development
I have done gender no problem, its Age of child ans rate of development. Any help will be appreciated
Thankyou

Hi Suzie, I have had the exact same feedback from my tutor in regards to this assignment. Did you manage to get any help? I'm struggling also!

Hi, I finally did it with lots of head banging and a chat with my tutor, I was trying to think it too much she just wanted a few lines for each not a whole essay.
A child may not develop to their age rate, this could be that a baby was born with a condition that could affect their development therefore are restricted by their condition. Also a child born into poverty is more likely to develop at a slower rate for their age.
As for rate of development, Negative experiences can be harmful to brain
development and affect the child’s ability to gain the skills necessary for reaching developmental milestones and can result in the child requiring additional support. When a child lives in an environment where there are a high number of risk factors present, their developmental delay increases. Also if few protective factors are present, the chance of a child experiencing developmental delay also increases.
Hope this helps and good luck!!!!
