hi guys, really stuck with this one. is 1.1 asking for the reasons why the the early years setting came about, such as because women were needed in the war, focus on families with social needs.
or do i need to write the different provisions and why they came about i.e nurseries, childminders, pre schools etc.

any help muchly apprieciated. on a tight deadline, so any help would be great :)

I wrote because women were needed to work while their husband went to war and families with social needs. You could write a bit about different provisions, but you might have that in a different unit i did.

i wrote about families individual needs and why they would send them to each setting, i.e a nursey, pre-school, creche, childminders, parent and toddler etc

if you look at the history of the pre school learning alliance https://www.pre-school.org.uk/about-us/our-history it gives really good recent history but of course you can go back centuries! for my students this and was sufficient that and mentioning the wide array on offer
