I work voluntary in a school nursery from 8.30am-3.30pm 2 days a week. 27 hours seems a bit much. When i worked voluntary in a private day nursery i worked 2 days from 9am-4pm.

for my course i need to do 6hours a week. so i do monday morning 9am-11.30am, tuesday all day 9am-3pm and thursday morning 9am-11.30am.

if i go onto the level 3 then i would have to do 15hours a week

i suppose its upto you how much you do voluntary as long as you have the time and want to do it!

Default Voluntary work

Hi there

I voluntereed to study for NVQ3 and do 2x morning sessions (8.30am-1pm). I feel that is enough because have another 2 jobs and attend college. I get enough from those sessions to work through requirements. If it's about funding, speak to local council they are helpful and will tell you how much time is needed in placement.

Amanda - so near the finish line !!
