Default Just started Supporting teaching and learning in schools level 3

Hi everyone, i have just started the above course, been given my cache pack and told which is my first assignment and that is it so far.

I have the textbook to go with the course, plus the Linda Pound How Children Learn and also Child development by Carolyn Meggitt. Are there any more books that any of you recommend that will come in handy?

Thanks
Emma

Hi, the other two books in Linda Pound's 'how children learn series are useful where the areas of theory are newer to you, they support the very helpful linking theory to practice title by Jennie Lindon

A warm welcome to silkysteps xx

The Louise Burnham Supporting Teaching & Learning in Schools is a good one as well. It covers everything you will need to know although I find I still have to do a lot more reading as the information is good but not a great deal of it.
