Help SOS Lost all motivation

Hiya, hope everyone is enjoying the Easter break.

I have to admit that I have not touched my coursework in over a week, even moved all my coursework, printer, scanner etc.. into the spare room out of the kitchen and I am so much happier and more relaxed. How on earth do I manage to get back on track when it was causing me so much stress?
I have to complete the first 2 units by the time my assessor visits which is on 5th May and I have got no inclination to do so being as she has been so awful so far, bit like rebelling at school against your least favourite teacher

Any motivation ideas would be gratefully received

Once you've had a break, hopefully you'll feel refreshed. The motivation is that it's your qualification - if you don't finish, it's no skin off others - unless you work for a Pre-school where your qualifications depend on what 'money band' your setting receives in the single funding formula.

I remember doing a degree many years ago and thinking I couldn't do another assignment, let alone another month/year etc - that saying '..a long road ahead....' springs to mind; but time keeps moving, it came and it went and then a few years later I embarked on another degree...oh no, I thought, what have I done... buit that came and went and the years have gone by again (unfortunately it mean's I'm older!).

It doesn't matter what it is, whether we are having a bad winter with illness, exams or a course we are doing, we all feel the same - is there no end to it?

In a couple of years time,(at most) you'll have your qualification, you'll be much more confident in your work (and possibly yourself), you'll be able to help others and you may feel inspired to continue to learn and gain other qualifications and broadening your career prospects.

How about looking at working differently - do a bit each evening, then have the fourth night off? - or whatever you think is best for you.

Whatever you do remember to write an example or two down - assessors/tutors don't want to see just lists which could be copied down from someone or a book. An example shows you'll thought about it or researched and understood.

Best of luck - perhaps time to bring your work back in. Can you not place it somewhere other than your kitchen?
That's a room where you won't feel you're having a break from it all if you are seeing it every time you make a coffee, have breakfast or make any meal. If not cover it over with a cloth when you are not working on it -it's that old adage 'Out of sight, out of mind'.
