Sobia here are a few note hope they can help you.

Unit 203.1

PC1-2
When doing these two pc descibe how you observe children in your workplace.
How do you record you observations(Tick list, Free description, etc).Put in an example of an observation of a child's physical development (Gross+fine motor skills).Do not include the child's name.
What do you do with these records ?(They may be showen to the child's parents or used as a basis for reports/parents interviews. They may also be passed on to the next room or contribute to the child's transition report when starting school.

K2M42:
How do you store them ? (In a locked filing cabinet for example because they are confidential.

PC3-4
Say how the activities you observed fit in to your overall provision and what kinds of activities you use to support gross and fine motor skills.
When do the children practice these skills ?
(There should be opportunities every day in and out doors).

K2D43:
Why is play important ? (To develop, learn and grow). Learning through play etc.
K2D39:
Why do we observe children ?
K2D40:
Do other people contribute to the observations ?
Why is it important ?
K2D41:
What do you do if you are concerned about a child's development ?
(Depending on where you work you may be able to talk to a teacher, playgroup leader or a supervisor.
The teacher would then have to consult the child's parents and have there agreement before having the child referred to anyone (speech therspist or child development centre) The parents may also like to consult there own GP or health vistor if child was under 5 years.
