Your assessor will want to not only know that things/equipment/resources will need to be adapted, but how do you do it?
She'll want to know if a child is unable to access an activity, how are you as a practitioner going to take or adapt that activity for a sen child or even a younger, less abled child or possibly a shy child who will prefer to stay back?
Just think of all the activities you provide and think how you would /could adapt to help children access it -i.e. painting - what if they are young and unable to hold a long paintbrush? You may offer them a short chubby one or let them use their hands. What if they couldn't reach the paint activity? - they may be in a wheelchair or on crutches - you could take the activty to them possibly using a table or tray.
Whatever you need to do, it's always easier if you have a sen child, as you do it automatically to include them; if you don't, you'll just have to imagine what a child with additional or different needs requires to include and offer them the activity.
