Default how a positive environment and routine meets the emotional needs of the children

can anyone help with this question ,

In your presentation, include information to show how a positive environment and routine meets the emotional needs of the children and their families including:
• Self-confidence, self-image and sense of self worth
• Links to happiness, security and success
• Impacts on the children’s behaviour and achievement
• How it develops independence
• Why you need to meet basic care needs
• Relationship and friendships

Thanks for the reply & i think so not to sure as I'm doing a apprenticeship level 2 & its called Nutrition doesn't have a unit just listed as study days & its day 3

It teaches children how to behave with with people in general, so it would help children know how to communicate with their parents and families positively and how to speak to visitors politely. It could also help children to talk to staff about worries they have if the staff are positive and approachable. Having a positive environment also allows parents to talk to the staff and feel included and equal.By providing emotional support and unconditional love, gives individuals a sense of confidence, helping them become healthy, happy adults. By sitting down and talking to there children about there problems helps the child feel emotionally more confidant.

Well something like that as I am doing level 3 in child care

You could also writ something like this:
All practitioners should ensure they provide a safe, secure environment for children. A positive environment must mean you cater for the child as a whole - meaning their Physical, social, emotional and intellectual development. The EYFS explains that along with caring for a child’s personal development, and helping them build relationships with others - a positive environment is also key in a child’s development. By creating a positive environment, you are enabling a child to flourish and reach their full potential in all aspects of development. It is important to create a setting that ensures all children are 'included' - and feel equal within a setting - good partnership with parents is paramount to ensure the child is getting the best possible care. The EYFS explains how a positive environment interconnects with a child’s whole development. Some key points that are covered in the EYFS to create a positive environment and a good relationship with the parents and children are; *Welcome parents and involve them in their children’s education. *Warm, relaxed, happy, friendly and welcoming environment and staff. *Staff should work effectively as a good team.

*Positive behaviour – staff should always be positive and good role models e.g. no shouting, manners, no violence, etc. *Lots of colour and activity, children seeing their work displayed up on the wall will encourage achievements, helping to develop and promote creativity and self-esteem. *The environment should be safe, hygienic and child friendly. *Well ventilated, with natural light and to always be bright and lovely looking. *Useful resources to reinforce their needs such as stepping blocks to toilets and sinks for washing hands. *Celebrating diversity and valuing the children’s individual needs, and be free from...

For some parents routine provides a sense of structure that relaxes them ~ by knowing what needs to be done and when they can get feel more in control and ultimately more calm and confident with their parenting.

It is this calmness and confidence that the child benefits from. A relaxed, happy parent is more emotionally able to connect with & provide their children with what it is they really need ~ quality time, someone who listens to them, laughs with them and plays with them & lets them know how wonderful they are (among other things).

Flexibility is wonderful if that is who you are & if that works for you. For some parents (& their children) lack of routine works best for them. For others, routine provides a sense of safety that allows them to thrive. There is no right or wrong ~ it is about working out what best suits you and your child.

Neither structure & consistency.... OR .... flexibility by themselves make a good (or bad) parent .... but a calm, happy, relaxed parent ...that is a fairly good start!
