Help SOS Support Assessment for Learning witness testimony examples PLEASE!

Hi,

I am studying the Specialist Support for Teaching and Learning in Schools Level 3 Diploma through distance learning so I don't have anyone observe me. Instead my witness and I (the class teacher) go through the criteria and think of examples when I have met it. She has been absent the past couple of weeks so I am trying to come up with as many examples as possible before I see her next week for the final time before summer, so I can get these testimonies signed off.

My mind has gone blank for some of the testimonies and what I can use as an example so I was hoping that some of you lovely people could tell me examples of what you wrote? I know a lot of it will be really simple things and I'm probably overthinking, so it will be a massive help to see what others have written by either themselves or their witness.

1. Use clear language and examples to discuss and clarify personalised learning goals and criteria for assessing progress with learners.

2. Use assessment opportunities and strategies to gain information and make judgements about how well learners are participating in activities and the progress they are making.

3. Provide constructive feedback to learners to help them understand what they have done well and what they need to develop.

4. Support learners in using peer assessment and self-assessment to evaluate their learning achievements.

5. Support learners to:
a) Reflect on their learning
b) Identify the progress they have made
c) Identify their emerging learning needs
d) Identify the strengths and weaknesses of their learning strategies and plan how to improve them.

6. Use outcomes of assessment for learning to reflect on and improve own contribution to supporting learning.

I know it's a lot but any help would be much appreciated as I am desperate to get this signed off before the six week holidays!

Thank you!
