Case Study Help

Hey All,

Im sorry if this is in the wrong part, but I am now doing a level 3 in playworker and have been asked to answer this question and am a bit stuck.

How you would respond and the actions you would take in the case study below.

You are making hats as an activity in the after school club. You invite Sopna (7 years) to come and join in the activity, but she explains she can’t take part as she is wearing a head scarf and she doesn’t want to take it off.

I need to have this completed by tuesday and have got a mental block

Thank you all x

Surely this should be a free choice/option activity so that a child determines if they want to carry it out.
Following on from that, taking this child's preference (cultural or not) for wanting to leave her headscarf on, you could ask if they would like to make/do an alternative activity with the resources/materials you have? So they are still included, but they choose to make a bookmark or something else.
