Hi
stick up for your rights, of course you should change the gloves everytime you change a child, this is put in place to protect you and all the other children. I'm sure that your parents wouldn't be happy and OFSTED wouldn't be either.
What does the other staff in your setting think?
You shouldn't have too but there are three things you can do!
1. Refuse point blankly to use one pair of gloves for the day. Speak to your tutor to see if she/he can help resolve this problem.
2. buy your own gloves and tell them that you are not prepared to cross infect.
3. find a decent setting that actually cares about the children and staff within their care.
