help with unit 205 display please - promote positive images of people

Hi, can anyone help me with ideas for my 205 display to promote positive images of people? I am struggling with this one, as I need to use the children in my up-to-3s section in the nursery to help. My nursery has asked me if I want to do a wall display and take pictures of the children, but I'm not allowed to use the pictures of children in my photo of the display. Does anyone have any ideas?

Umm:idea:

if you just have to take a photo of your display for your assignment, surely the children in any small photos won't be clearly visible - so I wouldn't worry about this. I always think that the best displays have photos of the children creating them so do make sur you include them.

As for an idea for the theme...
How about getting the children to dress up as various 'people who help us' - e.g. police officers, fire fighters (very PC speak!!) ... and create a collage of one (draw round one of the children and decorate together?) ... and add some of the children's remarks about these people and how they help us in speech bubbles on the display... combine with a visit from one of these people if appropriate

Hope that helps a bit!

People who help is an excellent idea, you could also vary the positive images by showing skin diversity, gender - males & females in all roles. Disability & inclusion.

Let us know what you decide on, best wishes with it

Cheers-I might do a book display and take a group of children around the nursery (we have a health visitor, the man who delivers te lunches, the person who works in the kitchen etc.) and take photos (if they agree) of them and put some books out. I need to ask soon.
