Default Level 3 unit 337 assessor questions I HAVE 3 TO DO THEN I AM FINISHED MY COURSE :)

HI-FIRSTLY THANKYOU TO ANYONE WHO HAS TAKEN THE TIME TO READ THIS

i go and see my tutor for the last time this tuesday (2 days) and i am stuck on 3 things, they are not questions, i should have been observed doing these-but she forgot! so i need to answer them. I havent got a book to help me either, i have scoured the web but have found nothing

PLEASE HELP ME, THIS IS WHAT I NEED HELP WITH

337.1.2 Liaise with professionals, families and children to plan the implementation of evidence-based programmes for responding to challenging behaviour in individual children

firstly - have you worked with a child presenting challenging behaviour? what strategies did you put in place to support hem? did you seek advice form others in your setting/outside your setting? did you approach the family to discuss behaviour at home/ strategies they used/ should be using? did keep records/notes? if you use these as a basis to answering the first part of your question you can then look at how you reviewed the plan later on - what worked, what didn't work. did you adjust/add anything and why? had the child's behaviour improved? were other support agencies brought in as a result of the original plan? by focusing on the positive you are showing them what they can do rather than what rather can't. they are probably used to being told what they do wrong so hearing what they do right gives them encouragement to continue. positive reinforcement encourages positive behaviour , negative reinforcement encourages negative behaviour. hope this helps!

Thankyou so much, i dont know whether it is because i am nearly finished my brain is packing up or what ! :rotfl:

but that has helped loads thankyou it has given soemthing to think about
