Book Review Book Review: The Very Snowy Christmas ~ Diana Hendry

Book rerview for Preschool and Early Years.

The Very Snowy Christmas ~ Written by Diana Hendry and Illustratted by Jane Chapman.

Very cute book that has a slight twist on 'Chicken Lickens' falling down sky !

Little mouse has gone to find some Holly to decorate their home ~ but as large snow flakes start to fall from the sky and begin covering things around him - Little Mouse becomes scared and rushes back to Big Mouse.

Reassured that all is well , Big Mouse explains that Snow is indeed a very magical part of Christmas.

******************
The textured glitter throughout this book adds a lovely tactile element to reading the story ...
