Default theorists

Hi! Question is
There are a number of theorists that have studied and drawn conclusions as to how children grow and develop over the years. Research different theorists covering aspects of: play, growth, languauge, behaviour, attachment, cognitive ability and social well being.
Can anyone help with question or give me ideas where i can find this information please, been to local library but not much help!!!!!

One of the books I like is-
How Children Learn, by Linda Pound.
Covers all the main theorists in a easy to read manner.

Don't you have a textbook to help you with your course? It should cover all the things you need to be doing or point you in the direction to look
