I understand the assess the development part what are the implications for practice

Hi,
The implications for practice means that you need to think about what you will need to do to address the development you assessed. It could mean that you need to look at the resourses supplied, the need to differentiate the planning for individuals and groups, the teaching styles, how you feel about your own practice (the way you would want to do it as apposed to having to do it the way you are told) The extra information needed from families/keyworkers/agencies etc that you need to help you make sure the child can develop. Evidence you can use for this unit are your child observations, child study, Key worker records linked to profiles, child enrolment forms, childrent reports, parent information evening paperwork, paperwork interacting with outside agencies, IEP's and of course good old reflective accounts.
