We loved this book, did a theme on Cowboys as part of a People theme.
The children asked for it again and again
about a girl who keeps on about being a cow girl, and eventually is one and her parents join in to.
Thought it was a really nice, "girl doing boys stuff" book.
great pictures to

within the theme we also - had baked beans for snack, made pictures of horses and wagons, dressed up in hats, waistcoats, large boots.
had hay for the horses in the trough, with horses and animals.
