009 activity plan

Hi,
I'm on the last assignment of the city & guilds tech cert really want to get it finished but a bit stuck. I've got to devise an activity plan to promote children's self esteem and self confidence. If anyone can offer up some ideas it would be much appreciated.

this is more for pre school but can be adapted it is from the planning play for early years book so reference need to be made to that.

teddy wants to

teddy needs some help getting himself organised . he wants to do some painting you may change the activity to suit too. he needs some friends but teddy can't work out what he needs to do to get ready can the children help teddy?
Aim the aim of this game is to help young children think through and collect resourses that would be needed to carry out teddy's activity teddy might wanto to draw or do play dough.

resources everything you need for the activity you wish to do.

Activity teel children about what teddy is hoping to do . ask the children to think about what teddy will need to carry out thia activity . a list of the materials that teddy needs .can also be written down at the same timeby the adult to introduce the children to the idea of recording words some children might want to do their own written list.for teddy

this type of activity is linked to the following early years goal

it encourages children to select and use activities and resorses indendently so


this will help self esteem and build confidence .
