Hi a very warm welcome to the site and congratulations on the learning journey about to start :) xx

As you've only recently joined your setting can you ask for copies of all policies, procedures, the prospectus and contract details plus the staff handbook regarding your role and responsibilities?

Depending on the age of children you'll be in contact with and if you work in England The eat better start better campaign is useful reading as is the NHS's change for life campaign

Check with your course provider which handbook is the most appropriate before spending money xx

Look forward to hearing how it goes

why not do the level 2 first? it is a much better way to gain experience and not so scary AND you will be a much better practitioner
