Hi, a warm welcome to the site.

This is primarily about your setting and describing how information is shared and reported - who do you speak to and who speaks to you?

Page 144 of the Early Years Educator level 3 handbook explains reporting lines:

Reporting lines
For partnership to be effective, tghere have to be clear lines of reporting. This ensures that information is given to those who need it and that information does not go astray. It is ususal, for example, for children's key persons in early years settings to share and exchange information on a day-to-day basis with parents. On the other hand, where there are safeguarding concerns about a child's welfare, information will be exchanged between the early years setting's designated person and other professionals.

Page 122 then lays out staff member's job titles which you might recognise from your own setting?

May need to report to the manager.

Manager/head teacher
Responsibility - to ensure the smooth running of the setting. To ensure that all policies relating to health and safety are being followed.
