I understand the planning for activities. But not what it means for the policies and procedures. Collecting relevant data -feedback from colleagues. so sorry to ask again

ohhh i see! i suppose its the observation, sharing them and planning to meet the needs of ech child. this means you have to have a unique child policy and also a procedure for sharing obs as the kw will not always be the one who makes them. we usually obs all week then have a planning meeting on the fri share obs and imp thing then create a fluid plan for the next week for each child. procedures will be sharing obs, obs method, gathering obs from parents and integrating them and how? and im sure theres more but brain is hungry!

Its about having a clear time schedule and planning for reviewing your policies and procedures. At the bottom of all my policies i have a space for signing it and dating it and a space for the date that it will be reviewed.

In our setting we have a programme of reviewing our policies. Our parents and staff members are given a timetable of when each group of policies will be reviewed. We put a copy of how we want to amend them in a folder and ask everyone to comment. By doing this we get feedback from all stakeholders in the setting.

So collecting relevant data might be looking at the the EYFS pack to ensure our policies are legal.

By asking parents/carers, staff and committee to review the policies with us we should get feedback

I hope this makes sense.

I am lucky my Chairperson has introduced a fantastic timetable which has been issued to everyone. I just hope we get the feedback. I suppose if they don't feedback it means they are happy with the policies!!!

Let me know if you want any more information
