its important to show other adults respect so that they feel comfortable around you, so you can work together in a team, it makes it easier to build a relationship/partner ship, better atmosphere, so it reduces the barriers, to avoid lowering their self esteam or causing conflict, so they respect you back and to be a good role modle for the children-teach them to celerbrate differences and be tollorent of one another.

Dont give up - i remember feeling exactly the same and now I am just about to hand my last unit in!!
Like someone special said it is important to show respect for adults as it helps everyone feel valued and promotes working as part of team. Every person has had different experiences and if people feel valued they are more likely to share their experiences promoting good practice.
