hello everyone, newby to site and wondered if you could help with task 1 working in partnership.

Explain how your setting covers partnership working in its policies and proceedures for safeguarding children and young people. When your setting works in partnership with others how well does the partnership match the discription below

are independent bodies

cooperate to achieve a common goal

create a new organisational structure or process to achieve this goal, seperate from their own organisations

plan and impliment a jointly agreed programme, often with joint staff or resources

share relevent information

pool risks and rewards.

Any help on the would be really appriciated as even my manager struggled to help me other than to agree that it was multi agency working and sen related.

this is far easier than it sounds because of the words they use! you need to read up on CAF your local safeguarding childrens board and their is a brilliant book called the team around the child. this leaflet from the DOE is excellent too
