Default unit 024 promote child and young person development

Hi
Can anyone help i'm struggling with outcome 2 on unit 24

2.1 Implement the development plan for a child or young person according to own work role and responsibilities, taking into account that development is holistic and interconnected

2.2 Evaluate and revise the development plan in light of implementation

Hi, I'm now working on this unit too but I haven't had any teaching on it yet. Do you have any key children in your setting that you are responsible for? If so then I think you have to plan a next step for a child's observation using your setting's forms. Then you have to evaluate the activity that you planned as a next step. Hope this helps you abit x

Hi you need to assess the child for example see if a child can count to 5 you need to log your findings then play another activity to challenge the child to count further for example you next step would be to see if a child can build a tower of 10 blocks then count them for you see how far they can go then evaluate again your assessor will need to see you do the first activity then you will need to plan to make activity harder and then the assessor should need to see that activity too. I have actually done this task today in my setting and as far as my assessor said it went ok. Hope that helps you x
