Libraries ?

:glasses-s Do we have any Librarians or people who take an active role in organising story times in thier local library, in here?

I am contacting quite a few libraries around the country to let them know what resources we have available for them to use, because I'm hoping that as a 'spin' off , local branches can use our themes and topic ideas to bring the story titles that they choose... to life...!

Any help, advice or info on how your 'locals' operate would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks
Ruth

Thats brillant! I didn't realise that music sessions were done!!

Do you know of any resources that would we could put on here that will help plan the reading/crafting/music times?

I'm wondering on things like traditional song lyrics that can be printed out or website links that contain sheets for printing?

More colouring pictures based loosely on book title (have to respect copyright!!)

We have lots of suggestions building where a corner of the children's library could be turned into an 'atmospheric' area (big word for this time of the day !!)... relating to the book .. under the sea:- a bed sheet hung like a canopy with paper strips for seaweed etc. attached .. that could be for 'The Rainbow Fish'

What else?... all your ideas welcomed!
