Hi a warm welcome to the site

For the Lv3 333 - 333k10: Different recruitment and selection methods and their associated advantages and disadvantages

I'd look at:

Internal and external advertising.
Word of mouth
Online and offline recruitment
Legal requirements: wording, discrimination: considerations - promotion.
Publications & advertising
Notice boards
Advertising locally and out of the area.

Advantages & disadvantages will be cost, reach, administration/time.

Selection methods will rely on the application system you have in place: forms and the information they request, procedures in place for references, questions & criteria used at interview.

and for 333k10 - Sources of specialist expertise in relation to recruitment, selection and retention.

again personally I'd use businesslinks guidance + recruiting & interviewing, acas information - equality & diversity, connexions, the job centre, ask colleagues and other professionals in associated settings/departments and possibly look at what agency/consultancy advice involves.

Hth xx
