Default CYPW Level 3 3.4 - 1.4

1.4 Explain how current health and safety legislation, policies and procedures are implemented in own setting or service

I have put - The most important legislation in the UK is the Statutory Framework for the Early Years Foundation Stage. The EYFS is the responsibility of the education services and in the UK is the Department for Education in England (DfE). Since 2008 this sits alongside health and safety legislation and covers every aspect of the welfare of children which includes –
• Safeguarding
• Suitable people
• Suitable premises and equipment
• Organisation
• Documentation

And my assessor has asked for - You need to explain what legislation each of your policies relates to and then give an overview of the policy/procedure as this will explain how it's implemented in the setting.

Im not having a good day and really cant think what to write, can anyone help please? If I give her an example of each of my policies and then explain how its implemented I'll be writing about 20 sides of A4!

yep sounds about right. you are to demonstrate that you understand which policy you have related to which law. so say for the safeguarding laws which policies meet them list them then explain 2 or 3. why you have it and what it means.
