New girl!

Last week was my first day as a member of staff.Have not received any paperwork etc nor given set of policies, themes for the rest of term etc.
I know that I should have been given a induction etc.To-morrow is my second day ,dare I ask them? What do you do if a new member of staff starts??
I do know but as usual need someone to confirm my thoughts!
Old age makes me want a back up!!:rotfl: :rotfl: :sorry: :sorry: :raspberry :bouncy: :vomit:

on the persons first day, they arent actually on the rota, they come in for induction.
showing round, policies, curriculum, planning, introductions, fire procedure, etc etc etc. right down to contracts, uniform wages, time off, contact numbers etc.

then they stay and observe the routine, chat, play whatever and watch packing away, to see what happens.

all this under supervision of leader (me!!)
then they are ready for their first day.
