Hi

Does anyone know what this looks like (completed)or where I can get an example of one from. I'm asked to do a progress report using info from a child's profile. Tad difficult as I have never seen one. Thanks

Smile Progress Reports

Hiya!

for each indivaudal child you need to write about every area of development in the EYFS. Write about how they have developed in that area what they like doing in that are of develop ment e.g ( this is an example )

creative development

Sam is always keen to take part in creative avtivites and enjoys learning new skills in this area of development on a daily basis. Sam especially enjoys painting whilst at the setting and often spends a lot of his time creating paintings, he takes great pride in showing these to his peers and practitioners.

I hoe this helps! so write about each area of development and when you have done this wrte your final comments on how they have settled in developed etc.

In our local authority we have a standard form which is split up into the 6 areas of devlopment. We write about the child's strengths in each area. We then write a paragraph about the child's well-being and involvement within the group and then write the child's next steps for the following term. These are given out to the parents every 3 months as part of their child's individual learnng journey. The parent then comments about the child's strengths at home and how they are going to help meet the "next steps" at home.

As these reports are standard within our local authority it makes it easier to share them with other settings a child attends as well as us.

If you pm me your email addy i'll email you a blank copy if you like.
