Jehovas Witness

Hi
i had a little girl start yeaturday, just moved into the area. and mum announced she was jehovas witness. Handed me a medical card and loads to read about celebrations, teaching etc. (really helpful, although might have been better to know on application, or when she visited!)

am ploughing through the literature as although i have a general knowledge i have never had a child in setting from this faith before.

does anyone have anytips on what they have done in the past.

:teacher: :magnify:
thank you

sorting through my paperwork I came across a leaflet on an insight into Jehovah's Witnessess, it just gives a general background on what you can and can't do,such as understand that a child cannot join in happy birthday songs etc but gave 2 websites. www.watchtower.org and www.jw-media.org don't know if they will be any help.

Just keep a really open line of discussion with the parent, thats what I did and if I was unsure I just asked and she was only to happy to explain in more depth.
