Default Playwork Level 5: Explain different methods of analysing information collected whilst monitoring operational plans.

Hiiiii

Playwork Level 5, Unit 502/505

Question 4.2: Explain different methods of analysing information collected whilst monitoring operational plans.

The information collected is supposed to be through staff meetings, parents' feedback etc. Anything I'm reading online is very technical, involving a lot of descriptions of complicated statistical analysis which doesn't seem to fit the question at all. For a bit of context, the unit is about implementing operational plans within the play organisation, monitoring the progress of plans and evaluating how they are being carried out.

Any suggestions would be great! :)

Hi, a warm welcome to the site.

Page 67 of the level 3 and 4 Playwork handbook lists methods such as checklists, surveys, observations and any playwork quality assurance scheme so that a setting's play space can be assessed, monitored and evaluated. If tools such as these along with staff meetings and feedback given by parents, were tailored to collect information about a setting's operational plan a setting would then be able to use and analyse that information to update and better their provision.

What does your setting's operational plan look like and how do you know it's fit for purpose?

This unit might be useful reading - Manage a playwork organisation's operational plan

I hope this helps a little xx
