SOS Theorists Ivan Pavlov and BF Skinner

Hi I’m struggling with these I understand theses theorists and the theories of behaviour and conditioning but I’m struggling with the task of giving examples of how the theories can be linked to practice in 1. A positive example through play 2. A negative example through play. Thanks all :)

Hi, positive could be praising a child for helping their friend put on their shoes or sharing buckets & spades in the sand pit. The praise aims to 'condition' children into repeating 'wanted' behaviours.

Negative reinforcement could be a time where a child snatches a toy from another child and no action is taken to help them understand what they did and the hurt that was caused.

Best wishes

Default Big thanks for help

Hi and thank you, I think I’ve been looking too deeply into, now I’ve read your reply. I have 12 theorists to research and have to give the same examples for each of them but I know what kind of thing is needed for the answers. Thanks again :)
