unqualified

:am i over reacting? an unqualified person is walking around the setting wearing an id badge stating they are a L3 qualified eyp and i have just been told today that this person is taking over from a staff member who is going on maternity leave and she will have 14 key children: she has no qualifications at all, is this even allowed. why did i bother with all the hard work:

Hi, you bothered with the hard work because you valued what it meant, what you learnt and the knowledge you now know's out there for professionals to make children's early years the best xx

Do you have a manager/lead that you can discuss this with? Maybe explain your concerns about the setting needing a required number of qualified staff? Your colleague's competency in record keeping for their key children is something that your manager will need to ensure or monitor xx
