How did she get the job? Was it advertised? Did noone else apply? Is there no other qualified person in the group to be Acting Deputy until someone suitable found? A deputy needs to be able to take charge in absence of leader - how can she do this? Sounds rather worrying .... sorry!

Chloe
When I wanted to use my mum as my Deputy (also the partner of the business) during an initial opening period I was told by my Dev Off that Ofsted would not find this acceptable as she is not qualified (although she was going to be working towards her Level 3).
