Hi

How about blowing & sucking ?

This is a great way for younger children to find out about forces - breath /wind and direction - in & out ... also good to have a go at this before introducing bubble paint blowing lol

Have a table with diffently sized & coloured/transparent straws and a variety of movable objects.

Feathers, balls of scrunched up paper, small sheets of tissue paper ..

See which can be moved by blowing & which can be moved by sucking !

A few trays or bowls can be good to collect the sucked/'stuck to the end of the staw' things. Show how they can be released into a bowl once the vaccum or suction ceases / children stop sucking !!

Risk assess beforehand just to make sure there isn't anything small enough or can break off to travel up into the mouth & cause choking.

Hth
