Hi a very warm welcome to silkysteps.

To help find your feet and make sure you feel in control of your course and your learning, contact your course provider to ask them about it. Explain you've just enrolled and was wondering what's expected.

The Children's Workforce Development Council, CWDC was an organisation that the Government dissolved back in 2012 but the literature it produced still supports some qualification content.

You can download and read about the common core here: http://webarchive.nationalarchives.g...uk/common-core

Best wishes with your study, feel free to post whenever needed, and look forward to finding out how things are going :) xx
