Hi, key professionals are limited in what they can do if they aren't able to support the child's family and carers with the same knowledge, advice, guidance, information and treatment plans that you've maybe written about for the professional's role xx

This is shared knowledge that families and carers can then use to support their child/children at home and to pass on to those that have contact with the child/children eg. care & learning settings, development workers, key persons.

The information/knowledge could be to do with the relationships a child has, their physical development and needs, their food choices, sleep & rest patterns, amount and type of physical activity, speech, communication, behaviour and sexual health.

If you search inside the preview of the level 3 book for roles of key health professionals pages 257+ has useful reading - on amazon.co.uk

Hth, best wishes for 9 days time and new baby :) xx
