Hi this is my first time posting,

can someone me please

1.2 Explain how current health and safety legislation policies and procedures are implemented in the work setting

1.3 explain how health and safety is monitored and maintained in the work setting?

Hi, Ive not long since completed this unit and I put

1.2 my setting implements health and safety policies and procedures by following guidlines set out in the policies themselves...mention things like risk assessments and things like that...

1.3 Health and safety is monitored and maintained through things like risk assesments and accident recording, ie if something keeps braking such as a seesaw outside it will have a risk assessment each time it is fixed and eventually should be discarded if it keeps causing injury... again also mention things like updating policies to ensure the policies are still working, getting information from staff meetings... Hope this helps x

1) analyse the value of risk and challenge for a young persons development and enjoyment of life


2) explain why it is important to take an approach to risk that avoids both excessive risk taking and excessive risk aversion


3) describe potential conflicts between the rights and choices of young people and legal requirements for health and safety and wellbeing
