Default Peadiatric first aid help please

Hi, can anyone please help me with the following for my first aid part of level 2..

Please describe the types and severity of bleeding. Also explain the affect this has on a child and infant.

I've got the 5 different types of bleeding as:
External bleeding, Internal, Arterial, Venous and Capillary

But I'm struggling with what to write for the affects it will have.. Any help would be great :)

Thank you
Jenny x

Haven't you had any first aid training? This unit is supposed to be delivered by an expert

Yes I have had first aid training, just don't recall much about different types of blood loss?

Hi Jenny,
I think what they are looking for is different types of bleeding would have different outcomes for the child, for example if it's capillary bleeding, you would apply pressure but it's probably not a serious injury, maybe a cut knee but if it's venous bleeding, you still apply pressure but it would be pumping and spurting because a vein is injured, obviuosly this is more dangerous than a cut knee. Internal bleeding you need to know signs and symptoms i.e. palor, heart rate etc.
Hope this helps a bit.
