Help SOS Help please!!! TDA3.24

Can anyone help on TDA3.24 Support Children and Young People during transitions in their lives

3.2 Explain the legal frameworks, organisational procedures and referral routes to ensure intergrated working for children and young people going through transition.

3.4 Comply with legal, organisational and ethical requirements relating to the exchange of information.

Not really sure where to start, any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks
Leanne

I was stuck on this one too. Don't know if this is any good to you, but I quoted the education act, where everyone is entitled to an education irrespective of race, culture etc. Also quoted the Childrens Act, and Every Child Matters. Also Health and Safety at Work Act. Under these legislations we all have a responsibility to ensure the education and well-being of any child in our care.
As for referrel routes, I have mentioned Health Services, Social Services, Local Authority Housing Services and Educational Psychologist - each one would depend on the child concerned and also the transition they are going through.
Hope this helps you a little
Renee
