hi,did this last week using fruits from the home countries of the children I work with.I asked them if all the fruits were the same-why not?are we all the same-why not? When all the fruit was cut up the group sat on the carpet & we had a mini circle time.we talked about race, gender, equality, disability & bullying.as it was so relaxed the children were able to talk openly.
I managed to cover PCs from 301,305,307 & 308.
Hope this helps a little.Good luck

i did this a while age and sat round the table with the children, showing them a book with a different culture in with different fruits they have, talking about it to the children. i encouraged the children to try the different fruits, getting them to smell and feel the fruits even if they didn't want to eat it, this covered quite a few units.
hope this helps kat x
