I have a question Help! Agencies work together to develop policy & procedures + processes used own setting to comply w data protection...

Please help me wrap my head around these two questions.

4.4 Explain how agencies work together to develop policies and procedures for safeguarding
• policies to protect children
• safe working practices
• e-policy
• whistle-blowing
• information sharing
• data protection

5.1 Explain the processes used by own setting to comply with data protection and information handling
Legislation

I've nearly finished this darned Unit and my brain is frazzled :(

Hi, Can you get hold of these policies from your setting?

Each county will have its own named processes, agencies and organisations that deal with safeguarding and settings are required to have policies and procedures that explain the expectations it has for staff ie. reporting concerns, working in safe ways, sharing information with the right people, in the right places so that confidentiality & privacy is maintained.

For example yours does your Local Authority have assessment meetings that involve TAC (Team Around the Child) or TAF (Team Around the Family) and professionals who work with key members of your setting?

Does the setting's Whistle-blowing policy explain wh you should report a concern to if you were worried by the practices of a colleague?

Hope this hels a little xx
