I am the manager of a before and after school club, we also offer a school holiday club . We also run a sessional pre-school am and pm with a lunch club. we are based in a community room attatched to an infant school we are small with 12 children per session in pre-school and 16 in the out of school. we are nearly always fully booked except for the holiday club which is a bit hit and miss. we use the school playground for outside play with an outing each week in the hols. age range for pre-school 2-4 out of school 3-11 holiday club 3-9

Pre-school 3 to 5 yrs, 20 children each session, 2 sessions a day
investigating full day but need another toilet (think we have found one, long story)
lunch club
6 staff - committee run
In a church hall so its the put away and get out thing.

Other hall users a nightmare as no caretaker end up cleaning before we can start!! BUT we can do all we like and decorate etc, no complaints about our leaving sand or paint on the floor, and it is very cheap against others.

I've tried it at the community center and it was too much for me at the moment. The children there seemed to be particularly active, as in non-stop running and screaming.
