Help SOS Op 2.17-reflective Accounts

Hello,
I've finished all my units now so I'm gap filling with reflective accounts. I'm not currently in placement so I need some help.

I need to do a reflective account on the things below but I'm stuck:

Review how own working practice has contributed to children's creative development
Adapt own practice to meet individual children's needs

Hi, welcome to silkysteps.

When thinking about what you do/did in your placement to support creative development were you ever involved with ..

Finding and setting out creative resources - these can range from art and craft materials, to role play, dress up, small world fiugures, musical and cookery equipment. Did you engage with children during their types of play answering their questions, asking them questions, sharing observations on what you notice?

Do you enjoy the process and celebrate times when children show you or you notice their efforts?

Adapting your practice involves being flexible in what you do, meeting children's needs means using observations and information to identify what's needed, moving to them, changing the environment, following their lead, sourcing equipment that is appropriate to what they want to do.

Hth, best wishes
